Mitchells Chartered Accountants is a well-established and growing firm that specialises in supporting over 400 agricultural businesses across the South West. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as an **AAT Apprentice**, combining hands-on work experience with formal study.

JOB TYPE: Full time with study leave entitlement OFFICE HOURS: 08:45 - 17:00

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Assisting in the preparation of accounts and tax returns
- Helping with VAT returns and payroll processing
- Supporting client queries and administrative tasks
- Gaining exposure to cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
- Learning from experienced professionals in a supportive, friendly environment

**What We're Looking For**:

- Enthusiasm for starting a career in accountancy
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English), and ideally A-levels or equivalent
- Willingness to study towards the AAT qualification at Richard Huish College (day release)
