**Production Machine Operator - £11 - £12 p/h + quarterly bonus + Benefits - Dudley, West Midlands (DY1 4LW)**

**The Role**

Do you have manufacturing or engineering background? Are you highly organised, collaborative and enthusiastic? If so, we are looking for you.

We are looking for a Machine Minder who will undertake machine interventions and first line trouble shooting to ensure the machinery runs to its optimum. You will make sure that the production line is operating smoothly and correctly, and any issues arereported.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of a Production Machine Operator include, but are not limited to:

- Perform start-up and close down check procedures.
- Complete routine maintenance of specific line equipment.
- Analyse, interpret and report live data for performance evaluation.
- Deliver the department daily plan.
- Maintain, monitor and achieve operational targets.
- Monitor and improve product quality.
- Complete line quality checks.
- Perform production process checks in the department.
- Continuously identify and implement workplace improvements.
- Maintain and promote measures that support waste minimisation and sustainability in operations.
- You will make sure that the production line is operating smoothly and correctly, and any issues are reported.

All our facilities are based on one site in Dudley where we undertake processing, bottling and storage.

The key skills and qualities of a Production Machine Operator are:

- Good manufacturing or engineering background.
- Good standard of manual dexterity.
- Machine operating experience.
- Good timekeeping.
- Ability to work to written instructions.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible - Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
- Committed attitude to Continuous Improvement activities such as 5s etc.
