**Back End Developer - Remote - £35,000 to £45,000**

An exciting opportunity for digital artistry in the media and entertainment industry who offer a wide range of creative production work including 2D, 3D, Animation and VFX.
The platform has supported over 400 clients to access the talent they need to scale up their productions on-demand. Clients have included international household names demonstrating their experience within the market.
Due to business growth, they are looking to recruit a Backend Developer (with PHP or Laravel) who can showcase their skill set and work side-by-side with an experienced technical team on a game-changing platform and services.
You’ll be responsible for the creation and maintenance of backend tools and technology, including integration and construction of microservices and Laravel components.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research and develop new tools and technology
- Work closely with the product teams to architect new features and services
- Work closely with frontend developers to construct and deliver complex data concisely

**Requirements**:

- A great portfolio of development work
- Familiar with any number of backend languages or technologies (PHP, Laravel/Symfony, Node.js)
- Familiar with related package managers (Composer, NPM)
- Familiar with a form of version control system (Git or Mercurial/hg)
