Special Needs Teaching Assistant - A Special Needs school in Crewe are looking to recruit a Special Needs Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis.

This is secure work from April until July with the potential to extend following a successful three month period. A lovely Crewe Special Needs school are looking to appoint a specialist member of support staff to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in Year5.

Hours: 8:45 - 3:15

This Special Needs Teaching Assistant role entails working on a one to one basis with a student with an EHCP.

The child has recently returned to full-time education having encountered difficulties reintegrating into mainstream education following the impact of the pandemic. This Special Needs Teaching Assistant role requires a nurturing, empathetic and compassionateapproach with a long-term focus on ensuring the child is able to bridge the gap in attainment they suffered during Covid.

The school has a good Ofsted grading with and following its last inspection received plaudits on its commitment to improving outcomes for students. Behaviour at this school is good with a real family feel. SLT are supportive and take pride in integratingnew staff, enabling them to reach their full potential and support students in reaching theirs.
