**WE ARE HIRING FOR AN AMMENITIES CLEANER**

Maelor Foods Ltd have an exciting opportunity for a Amenities Cleaner to join our team at our state-of-the-art poultry processing facility in Wrexham.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

The role holder will work part of the cleaning team to provide a safe, efficient and first-class cleaning provision to the Maelor Foods Site
- Ensure all common areas (toilets, changing rooms, canteen and offices) are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner safely and to the required standards.
- Use general cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Chemicals Hazardous to Health (COSHH Regulations) guidelines.
- Ensure all safety signs (wet floor signs) are used in order to reduce risk to others while working
- Complete daily cleaning schedule and report immediately where cleaning has not been completed
- Use electrical cleaning equipment such as hoovers etc. ensuring a safety check on the equipment is performed prior to use.
- Emptying and disposing of general waste bins and segregating waste where required.
- Receiving overall and PPE deliveries, storing them correctly and reporting any issues to your line manager

**Hours of Work**

45 hours per week - 2 week rotation

Shift 1 - Monday 04:30am to 15:30pm, Tuesday to Friday 13:30pm to 22:00pm.

Shift 2 - Tuesday to Saturday 04:30am to 13:30pm

**Essential Skills/Experience**
- Previous experience of cleaning including the use of chemicals
- Understanding of Health and safety and COSHH requirements
- Be punctual and reliable
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of team and on own

**Salary**: £10.75 per hour
