Management Accountant

As part of the retail HUB dedicated to easyJet you will play an integral part of this delivery.

This exciting role you will be a key member of the?dnata Retail?Finance?team?and?be an?integral?in?the?processes underpinning the?Managed Agent?budget?ensuring all?deadlines?are?met?in line with?financial timetables for?all?month-end,?reporting, budgetingand forecasting. You will be instrumental in ensuring that strict financial controls are in place for tracking?all budgeted spend, highlighting?any?key discrepancies?against the plan?where relevant.?

You will be responsible for the production of the department P&L as well as supporting the Retail Finance Manager with all key processes and outputs. You will ensure there are robust processes in place to minimise lost data and income. You will own and managethe PO creation and GRN process for all?departmental costs as well as drive the necessary documentation preparation for?Vendor creation?in SAP?for all MA suppliers. You will support with the accurate and timely accounting for VAT throughout the Managed Agentcountries working closely with VAT and customs stakeholders as well as working closely with internal stakeholders to provide a seamless service. You will use your knowledge and experience to provide ongoing development and training of?the?Assistant ManagementAccountant within the retail team with?a focus on delivering 'best practices’ across the business.

You will be an integral part of a busy team and will be at least part qualified/passed finalist accountant (ACCA,CIMA,ACA or equivalent). You will have experience of operating within an accounting department preferably at a large complex organisation. Youwill need to be highly organised and structured with the ability to forward plan to meet deadlines. You will come with excellent communication skills both written and verbal and must have SAP knowledge.

Ensuring compliance to legislative, customer and company standards is paramount. You will maintain best practice and review and monitor processes and action changes as necessary.
