As an experienced welder/fabricator you will be working in an East Manchester workshop specialising in bespoke metal items for public houses and the hospitality trade. **Also Metal Fencing/Gates for social housing.**

Duties will include performing/cutting welding processes using gas and arc welding processes.
- Experienced Fabricator/Welder needed for immediate start in East Manchester
- 2 Years minimum experience working as welder/fabricator
- Excellent planning, communication, and organization skills
- Follow Specs/Drawings
- With a keen eye for detail
- Able to work on own initiative
- Great work ethic
- Must be punctual
- Understand plans & requirements for each task
- Prepare/cut shapes and weld according to structure plans
- Use grinder to smooth and clean as appropriate prior to and after welding
- Effectively operate manual and automated welding units and equipment to fabricate, repair, maintain and install metal equipment, appliances, fixtures etc
- Assemble component parts using appropriate hand/small power tools
- Identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with applicable codes, law, working practices, and health and safety
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools and make sure working area is clean
- Work to time limits
- Assist team members on projects to ensure targets are met
- Maintain good relationships with team members
- Immediately report problems/failures that may impact the company
- Excellent rates of pay (Dep on Exp.) Minimum Start Rate £15.00ph
- Monday to Thurs 8am to 4.45pm
- Fridays 8am to 3.45pm
- Overtime - Regular Nights/Saturdays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
