The current Managing Director took the helm in September 2019 and has overseen a restructuring of the business which has resulted in major process improvements, healthy cashflow and a significant increase in profitability. Having helped to drive Dunelm’s evolution throughout the pandemic, the current FC is moving on to a new challenge and the business is looking for someone to continue his work and provide a very strong **"righthand" to the MD.** With the assistance of an experienced and capable team of 3, you will ensure that the full accounting and reporting cycle is completed in a timely and accurate manner. With your assistance, the MD will be able to make the commercial decisions that will allowfor continued profitable growth. As with any SME, the senior team often wear multiple hats. **Beyond accounting, the FC role at Dunelm is a varied one.**Involvement will likely cover areas of IT (systems implementation) HR policy and purchasing. The latter will be undertaken in close collaboration with the MD and Business Owners. We need a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACMA or ACA) who has a broad range of experience and will now relish the opportunity to embed themselves in a successful and profitable business. **Personality is key and having an interest and understanding of Owner Managed Business will be important.** In return for your ability and loyalty you will be rewarded with a good salary and a sensible work / life balance.
