We are seeking a reliable and proactive Assistant Caretaker to support the day-to-day operations of our school site.

The role involves ensuring the security of the premises each evening, managing deliveries and distributing goods to departments, and responding to staff requests via the school radio system. You will also assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment, including sweeping external hard-standing areas.

A practical, hands-on approach is essential, and basic D.I.Y. skills would be an advantage.

This role operates on a rotating shift pattern:
**Early Shift**

Two consecutive weeks of 10:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (includes a 30-minute break)

**Late Shift**

One week consisting of Monday to Thursday: 3:30pm to 10:00pm (two nights) and 3:30pm to 9:00pm (two nights), Friday: Off, Saturday: 7:30am to 1:30pm (includes a 30-minute break)

During school holidays, working hours revert to early shifts only.

The salary for this role for 28 hours per week is £21,567 (£27,729 FTE)
