**The Role**

A fantastic opportunity has arisen as **Public Area Attendant with valeting duties **to join the Baglioni Hotel London on a full-time basis. We are currently looking to recruit a passionate, organised and hardworking Public Area Attendant to cater, deliver and exceed our guests’ needs and expectations by providing a smooth housekeeping service throughout the hotel and laundry service, whilst working within our five-star standards.

Reporting into the Butler Services and the Executive Housekeeper, the Public Area Attendant responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following tasks and performances:

- Cleaning of hotel public areas, hotel front and back of house areas;
- Provides guests with all the services they may require such as repairing, washing, ironing and delivering garments when requested or applicable;
- Participating in the cleaning of guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, in accordance with LQA and Baglioni Operating standards;
- Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture;
- Coordinates the hotel’s uniform storage, ensuring our team’s appearance is immaculate and in keeping with the Baglioni London’s high quality grooming standards and style;
- Liaises with the housekeeping supervisors and butlers on extra cleaning activities in accordance with the daily department cleaning schedule;
- Ensures that the Hotel is kept at all times at the highest level of cleanliness and where applicable and reports any hazards or damages to management.

**The successful **Public Area Attendant **will**:

- Have previous experience in a similar role and type of luxury environment.
- Have sewing skills and techniques for professional garments (i.e. sewing clothes, fabrics, etc.).
- Have an acquired working knowledge of repairing, washing and ironing garments.
- Have a background in housekeeping or cleaning services would be beneficial.
- Have good communication and organisational skills.
- Have a proactive and flexible approach.
- Have a good level of English.
