Butler Rose have the pleasure of working with this £20m turn over, Enfield based organisation that have developed themselves as a market leader in their field since their inception some 14 years ago. They are now seeking a Financial Controller to drive thebusiness forward hold responsibility for the finance function and develop its team members. This role will suit a highly driven individual as progressive opportunities within the business are on offer here.

Duties will include:

- Responsible for the preparation and presentation of monthly reporting, ensuring a strong understanding of all variances to budget/forecast
- Full variance analysis and headline commentary.
- Profitability and trend analysis
- Business partnering with the CEO to support growth of the business.
- Overseeing and responsible for the annual budget, reviewing and consolidation.
- Main point of contact for year-end audit and liaising with external company auditors.
- Management and development of the finance function which currently includes a Management Accountant and a Transactional Processor.
- Ensuring that members of the team are offered training and development which will in turn strengthen the finance team.
- Pro-actively driving ad hoc commercial analysis to help focus activity and identify potential cost savings (production, logístical, etc) and value for money, making recommendations for improvements where necessary.

About you?

Ideally you will be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have experience of operating at a senior finance level (although a specific sector is not important). You will be able to manage and coach a small team of finance professionals,putting provisions in place to gain the most out of the team and finance function. You will have strong time management skills, being able to prioritise workload to meet time frame demands. As you will liaise across the business you will have excellent communicationand partnering skills.
