**Job Overview**
Flavourfresh Salads Ltd is a commercial glasshouse grower, and packer, of premium quality tomatoes and soft fruit (strawberries and blackberries), supplying supermarket chains across the country. The company was founded in 1997 by three local entrepreneurs and has grown to become widely recognised for the flavour and quality of its produce. We operate across 4 nursery sites, with the office headquarters located at: Aldergrove Centre in Banks, near Southport, PR9 8DX.

Work pattern: Friday - Monday. 07:00am start.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate a 7.5 tonne company vehicle for the transportation of our fresh produce.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company standards.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Any other duties, as reasonably required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles.
- Previous experience in driving 7.5 tonne vehicles, is preferred.
- Fork-lift licence is required.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for delivery drivers.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive attitude towards customer service and problem-solving.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
