**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and sanitise residents' rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors.
- Dispose of waste and empty bins.
- Clean and sanitise surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as required.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain and clean the garden, including sweeping pathways and removing litter.
- Be non-judgemental, forward-thinking, and passionate about mental health.
- Possess empathy, reliability, and trustworthiness, demonstrating patience and positivity in their consistent care for residents.
- Have a good understanding of mental illness gained through work, volunteering or personal experience.
- Have good communication, organisational and IT skills
- Be highly motivated and committed to improving our service users’ experience
- Enhanced DBS Check is required.
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
