The College is an anchor institution for the town and local area and we are ambitious for our students and the local economy. This includes being a key partner in the recently formed Skills Partnership with Wigan Council, Edge Hill University, Wrightington,Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the college, as well as working with the GM Colleges Group and spearheading our role as lead FE provider in the newly formed Greater Manchester Institute of Technology. The College has a range of excitingCapital projects in process which are further developing an exciting and contemporary learning environment for our students.

We are looking for a suitably qualified Lecturer with a relevant teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) to join the Mechanical Engineering Department. You will need to be competent and experienced in Product Design and CAD. NQT’s or graduateswould be welcome to apply.

You need to be proficient at planning and managing your own diary. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential for effective liaison with learners to successfully complete the course.
