**Job Overview**: In this role you will be supporting the Maintenance Manager and supervisor within a busy manufacturing environment, however previous experience is not necessary. Good IT skills are required and attention to detail is a must to assist the manager with coordinating planned maintenance and logging emergency work, dealing with suppliers and handling Health and Safety actions. You will oversee all admin and IT input for the Maintenance Manager.

Key roles and responsibilities
- Working under health and safety guidelines
- Obtaining multiple quotes and building good relationships with suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective parts are ordered for the department and maintenance budgets are met and minimised
- Placing orders for parts for all maintenance activities
- Attending meetings with the manager
- Handling HSE Actions sheets and delivering from the CMMS to the shift technicians Scheduling planned work with the manager
- Handling PM sheets from the technicians, uploading to the CMMS and creating remedial work sheets in an efficient, responsible manner
- Creating clean, presentable documents for several maintenance tasks including weekly team briefs, maintenance OEMs, operating procedures, training matrix, training material

**Other tasks (not limited)**
- Participate in any training and development as required
- Driving to suppliers and manufacturers to collect parts when required
- Issuing permits to work and ensuring contractors documents are up to date, RAMS and liability insurance checks before work is carried out
- Ordering of PPE for all maintenance staff when required

**Key requirements**
- GCSE in Maths, English, Science and IT
- Office working experience using various IT (Word, Excel etc) ideally within a manufacturing environment but not essential
- Competent in Microsoft Word
- Great communication skills, spoken and written

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Maintenance Admin: 1 year (preferred)
