**Purchase Ledger Assistant** **£21-22k Full Time** **Truro** Our client has an excellent opportunity for an Accounts payable person who can maintain the purchase ledger and liaise with suppliers to resolve queries. This position will involve working as part of a friendly finance team ensuring suppliers are paid ontime, resolving any issues dealing with purchase orders and goods note receipt mis-matching. They are a fantastic company to work for and offer a great office atmosphere with beautiful premises and exciting growth plans. **The Role**: - Responsible for full purchase ledger cycle including matching and processing invoices. - Take control of the aged creditors, clear queries and any aged items - Investigating purchase ledger queries and monitoring the control account. - Performing Accounts Payable intercompany processing and reconciliation - Generating reports and exporting data to excel - Reconcile supplier account statements - Create payment runs as required. **You should be**: - Highly numerical & a good communicator - Versatile, with a "can do" attitude. - Great team work skills Previous accounts payable experience is required.
