Prestigious banking name is seeking ALM risk specialist to join their core Treasury team. The Liquidity Manager role is a newly created position within our Treasury business to support Treasury Front Office with its day to day liquidity management responsibilities.As part of the role, the incumbent will be expected to support Treasury’s three business segments (Money Markets, FX & Capital Markets) and the bank other business units to maintain and forecast current/pipeline liquidity consumption. The individual will havedelegated responsibility and take ownership of working to support the bank overall compliance with internal/regulatory liquidity targets.

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Develop daily forecasts for Treasury on the firm’s key liquidity metrics such as LCR, PRA110 and LTD ratios. Conduct routine 'back testing’ of these forecasts versus official regulatory metrics generated within the Finance department.
- Liaise with Treasury Front Office Dealers and Relationship Directors in Private Banking & CIB to update and monitor pipeline of funded and off-balance sheet transactions. Act as a primary point of contact on measuring pipeline commitments against the firm’spool of available liquidity. Proactively advise Treasury on new funding needs as these arise and/or identify instances where gaps in liquidity users and liquidity sources are likely to widen.
- Support our money market desk in managing liquidity for the firm’s newly established European subsidiary.
- Work with colleagues in Risk and Regulatory on ad-hoc stress testing of liquidity for monthly ALCO, annual ILAAP and Recovery Plan development.
- Engage with project management staff (where relevant) to automate and streamline applicable liquidity MI, processes and data flow within Treasury.

**Desired skills/experience**
- Prior experience in a liquidity management role within Treasury, Risk or Finance/Regulatory. Sound understanding of the regulatory liquidity framework within Europe/UK.
- Strong excel skills (preferably with an intermediate/advanced level of VBA competency) and track record of automating/streamlining processes on previous roles.
- Good understanding of typical banking products across retail and wholesale markets.
- Prior experience in commercial and/or investment bank is mandatory.
