**The role**:
Carnival is looking for a Data Services Developer, who will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting data and automation solutions. This is a fantastic role which will include integrating new sources of data into data warehouses,developing data models, creating data pipelines, building custom apps, and delivering automated process workflows

You will:

- Work with Architects, other Data Services team members and with business representatives;
- Deliver fit-for-purpose, resilient, scalable, and future-proof data solutions to achieve technical requirements, on time and to a high level of quality;
- Provide ongoing expert support to the technical infrastructure in production while working on strategic and innovative data and process automation products, within a multi-disciplinary team;
- Deliver critical business outcomes including driving revenue growth and providing valuable insights to the business and to our customers.

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK09 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with at least two days based in our Southampton office.

**About you**:
Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and support us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you’ll also need:

- Strong technical skills in range of data processing technologies, supporting data transformation, metadata, data quality along with advanced SQL knowledge and experience;
- Experience working with complex data sets in a range of databases will be an advantage.
