**Position Overview**: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Analysis and Thermal Engineer to join our dynamic team at B2Space. As an Analysis and Thermal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, analysing, and optimising thermal systems for our innovative aerospace solutions. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our mission to transform the space industry and enable groundbreaking satellite deployments.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct comprehensive thermal analysis of spacecraft components and systems to ensure optimal performance under varying operating conditions.
- Develop and refine thermal models using advanced simulation tools to predict and evaluate thermal behavior and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient thermal management solutions, including heat exchangers, radiators, and insulation systems.
- Evaluate material selections to withstand extreme thermal environments and contribute to the overall reliability of space systems.
- Lead testing and validation efforts to verify the accuracy of thermal models and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to integrate thermal solutions seamlessly into the spacecraft architecture.
- Provide technical insights and recommendations to guide product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in thermal engineering, contributing to the company's innovative and competitive edge.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in thermal analysis, heat transfer, and thermodynamics, preferably in the aerospace or space industry.
- Proficiency in using MatLab, Python, Linux experience is preferred and proficiency using Ansys.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities to address complex thermal challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and convey technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
