**About the Company**:
Gourmet Grocer forms part of the Cassidy Hospitality Group of businesses. Due to its opening of a new cafe on the first floor of the store, we require a cook/chef to assist in the onsite Kitchen. Join a family-owned reputable business where staff, community and customers are important.

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following recipes
- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of food preparation
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the cafe team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
- Help with meal preparation and presentation
- Monitor and manage kitchen inventory levels

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years' cooking experience in a restaurant/cafe environment
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
