Drivers Mate

Furnished Homes is a family run contract furniture company which has been established for over 20 years. Due to rapid expansion we are looking to recruit a new Drivers Mates to join our friendly team based in Yate, Bristol

We are seeking a Drivers Mates to join us on a permanent full-time basis, with a salary of £24,710 per annum based on a 48 hour week.

This is not your normal delivery role - it is a very physical role and you will need be physically fit as well as quick witted and good at problem solving. It is essential that you have some DIY skills as installation and assembly can be required. You also need to accurately measure rooms for carpets, curtains and blinds, although training will be provided. Upon completion of a probation period you will be taught how to wire in electric cookers and connect washing machines.

Working hours can be long with early starts and/or late finishes, a flexible approach is essential, as is the ability to get to our premises in Yate without relying on public transport due to the start / finish times.

We deliver to lots of different properties from residential houses to accommodation schemes for vulnerable adults. We offer a good salary, generous holiday allowance and plenty of social events organised throughout the year.
