**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced team leader with a strong technical background to join our growing Telecoms Support team. The Telecoms Support Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, supporting their professional development and assisting with a wide range of Telephony issues.

**What you will be doing**
- Supervising, mentoring and developing a team of Telecoms Engineers
- Resolving critical IT incidents and problems, along with incident management
- Identifying reoccurring technical faults and liaising with other internal departments to resolve/ reduce faults
- Reducing incident and problem fix times within the team
- Managing business impacting situations to ensure mínimal downtime
- Working with colleagues to improve customer infrastructure

**You will suit the role if you have**
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Fundamental understanding of Networking, Microsoft products and Virtualisation
- Good understanding of general server, storage and network technologies
- Experience making business-sensitive decisions
- Previous management experience
- CCNA/ CCNP (desirable)

**Salary**

£30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

**Location and Working Arrangements**

You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Quayside Head Office with occasional travel to other Aspire locations as required.

**Hours of Work**

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
