Events and CRM Coordinator

**Location**: Newmarket Road, Cambridge.
Full-time (or at least 4 days per week or equivalent e.g. school hours).
Onsite or hybrid working is available (2 to 3 days onsite).
**Qkine is a Cambridge, UK-based manufacturer of high-purity, animal-free growth factors, cytokines, and other complex proteins. We combine proprietary production processes with protein engineering technology to tackle fundamental biological and scale-up challenges for the fast-growing stem cell, organoid, regenerative medicine, and cultured meat sectors.**
We are looking for a dynamic and organized Event Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing our events strategy, working closely with the business development team to support lead follow-up and measure return on investment (ROI). You will play a key role in identifying promotional opportunities through event sponsorships and attendance, while ensuring the creation and distribution of high-quality marketing materials that align with our brand.
**Main responsibilities will include**:
- Event Strategy Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to plan and implement events that align with our marketing and business development objectives.
- Lead Follow-Up & ROI Measurement: Oversee the process of lead capture, follow-up, and track ROI for events to ensure maximum value.
- Sponsorship & Promotion: Identify and secure value-add opportunities for event sponsorships and promotional activities.
- Event Logistics: Coordinate with conference and event organisers to ensure seamless execution, from registration to post-event follow-up.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with scientific and commercial colleagues to develop high-quality, on-brand marketing collateral.

**Skills and experiences that will help you in the role**:
- Proven experience in event coordination, marketing, or business development support, ideally in a science environment.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of event, travel planning or CRM systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable results.
