Canon EMEA are looking for an intellectually curious Insight Consultant to join our dynamic Insights team as part of the Corporate Development function.

You will own the preparation and timely delivery of strategic market insight analysis delivered to senior leadership teams across EMEA. To achieve this you will need to demonstrate a clear ability to collate market, competitor and customer information from a variety of sources connecting different pieces of data & information inspiring your colleagues to interpret insights which influence Canon’s strategies.

In addition to a salary of between £44,000 - £52,000 you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%. Our teams are based at our state-of-the-art EMEA HQ in Uxbridge which is easily reached via the Elizabeth line, with subsidised restaurant, free parking and Costa coffee on site too

**What we ask**:
Working in close collaboration with the business, you will need to understand your stakeholder’s commercial challenges and opportunities to identify their core information requirements. You will proactively monitor and analyse the strategies of our competitors, channels, markets and customers to predict the impact of their actions on Canon’s future direction.

To promote an external and future looking perspective you will build and maintain a strong network of 3rd party analyst relations to ensure that all insight and content gathering activities deliver maximum value cross the Canon community. In support of these activities, you will be required to drive and manage a variety of customer relationship and research projects within an agreed priority, cost and time framework which will support your own viewpoint and those of your stakeholders.

Your personal drive and curiosity to continuously expand your own knowledge, thought leadership and experience will allow you to proactively inspire your key stakeholders with actionable insights which support their commercial activities to deliver growth.

**You will need**:
Your role as an Insights Consultant in Corporate Development requires you to demonstrate a clear desire to learn and develop your analytical skills in a dynamic and challenging market environment.
You will need a broad commercial perspective along with an inquisitive and analytical data-driven mindset with the ability to challenge established viewpoints.
You will demonstrate that you are able to work independently whilst also being an inspiring team player with a keen eye on the customer.
You are driven, show initiative, and willingness to succeed in taking ownership and management of research projects within your domain.
You possess excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills. Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and proven interpersonal capabilities along with the confidence and charisma to engage with senior-level personnel within a large organization.
