I am looking for an enthusiastic Litigation Assistant to join my client, an established law firm based in Altrincham.

My client is a dynamic and growing law firm employing 70 people across its retail litigation team and is one of the leading firms in the country for Claimant work against major lenders and corporations. It aspires to grow significantly and is entering a sustained period of expansion. The role represents the opportunity to join a business at its expansion point.

My client's litigation team has years of experience issuing claims in their specialist area, including the representation of clients in landmark cases.

I am looking for a passionate and hard-working and committed individual who is interested in acquiring work experience in a law firm as well as training in case work in a busy litigation team.

**Key Duties**:

- Providing timely case updates
- Obtaining information, evidence and statements from clients as required
- Dealing with inbound queries and responding to client requests
- Drafting and negotiation of contracts and legal documentation
- Legal research and case analysis.
- Management of standard legal forms
- Liaising with external solicitors and providing legal advice to clients
- To manage a portfolio of cases and ensure each is progressed as required and provide administration of cases using the case management systems.
- To achieve agreed performance KPIs and targets
- Ensure that all required operational and compliance processes are followed
- IT & Processes
- Ensuring that the compliance procedures are followed, and cases are progressed within the SRA framework

**What we are looking for**:

- Have a qualifying Law degree with a minimum of a 2.1 or Cilex graduate
- Minimum of 1 year as a Litigation Assistant
- Have a great attention to detail and accuracy, pride in your work.
- Be able to organise yourself well and manage multiple time-based objectives
- Be ambitious to be part of a new challenge where you can develop and grow
- Enjoy working within a team and achieving collective goals

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
