Meter Reader's

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Conduct regular readings of electric, gas, and water meters in residential and commercial properties.
- Record meter readings accurately using handheld devices or paper logs.
- Identify and report any irregularities or issues with meters, such as damage or tampering.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding meter reading schedules and any necessary follow-up actions.
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness while working near electrical equipment and within public spaces.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- A valid driving licence may be required
- You’ll be self-motivated & energetic ideally (but not essential) from a background where you are used to driving, managing appointments & working outdoors.
- Ability to walk for several miles every day 
- You must be able to pass our screening and vetting standards, provide 5 years employment history and pass a DBS check

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £24,420.00-£26,500.00 per year
