An analytical and experienced auditor required to join our corporate client based in Glasgow, within internal audit. Collaborating with various stakeholders across the business, you will be required to evaluate the internal controls and compliance procedureswithin a financial services environment. Reporting to the Manager of this department your main responsibilities will include:

- Developing, planning and/or performing of audits across the EMEA region focusing on Financial Crimes/ broker-dealer and swap dealer/ UK PRA/ UK FCA and non-UK EU regulations/ Human Resources/ and Company Administration;
- Developing the EMEA Audit Risk Assessment with EMEA Legal and Compliance senior management to build the EMEA audit plan;
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders on global legal and compliance reviews as well as being the Subject Matter Expert to Business Audit colleagues.
- Carrying out the audit plan in line with the expected methodologies, policies and standards.
- Updating senior stakeholders internally and externally on the status and results of audits, as well as supporting the preparation of any Audit Board reporting necessary
- Ongoing communication with regulators; when required

Applicants should have strong data analytics skills, especially through use of excel. Ideally you will have relevant audit and compliance experience obtained within a financial services environment (e.g., wholesale or investment bank), however, those fromexternal audit backgrounds may also be considered (e.g., Accountancy Practice at a Big 4 or National firm level). Likewise, you will have a strong technical understanding of the regulatory environment included within financial services. Above all you willbe a confident communicator who can present to senior management, whilst balancing often conflicting deadlines.
