Pirates Play Centre is Nottingham’s number 1 play, laser and party centre. We are always seeking quality and reliable people to join our very busy team. We have positions available for party hosts & team members.

You will be the face of Pirates Play Centre, welcoming guests, parties, taking food and beverage orders and more.

This is a highly rewarding job that requires you to interact with the public and other team members and ensure that correct procedures are met. It’s a fast paced environment and you’ll work alongside a great team.

**WE REQUIRE**:

- Flexible working (part time hours available), Saturdays, Sundays, late afternoons (after school hours), School Holidays
- That you are available to work on weekends and during school holidays
- That you are punctual & reliable
- That you have high cleaning standards
- That you are trustworthy
- Approachable and able to interact with guests of all ages

**AS EMPLOYERS, WE WILL PROVIDE**:

- Relevant training including the option to work towards certificates including first aid and food hygiene

**JOB TYPE**:
We have 1 or 2 day per week positions (Saturdays, Sundays & extra days during School Holidays), great for school leavers and college students looking for flexible work around further studies or those looking for weekend only work. 8 - 9 hour shifts, starting mid-morning working through until mid-evening, generally sociable hours.
- Rota is given 2 - 3 weeks in advance. Shifts are set and dictated by party bookings. _

Hourly rates: - 23 and over £9.50, 21 to 22 £9.50, 18 to 20 £7.00, Under 18 £5.00 p/h

**THE ROLE OF PARTY HOST**:

- Checking the party room is set up and ready
- Welcome your guests and pay extra special attention to the party child
- Be attentive to your guests needs
- Ensure guests are having the best time possible
- At all times be attentive and on hand to make the party extra special
- Be proactive and clean the party room thoroughly so we can welcome the next guests knowing everything is clean, safe and ready to use. This can include:

- Hoovering, cleaning tables, chairs, highchairs & mopping

Extra duties will be required to help the centre run smoothly such as serving in our cafe, cleaning the centre and/or helping with other parties, play sessions and the kitchen.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £5.00-£9.50 per hour
