Nanny/housekeeper

**Job Overview**

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Nanny/Housekeeper to provide exceptional childcare and support to our young family.

This is a multifaceted role which will involve not only childcare support for our 2 children, but also wider household management responsibilities.

They will also be crucial to managing our wider household, ensuring high standards of cleanliness around the house and liaising with other household staff.

38-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a fortnightly evening babysitting for typically 4/5 hours.

**Childcare / Nanny - Responsibilities**

This includes tasks such as:

- Supervising and interacting with the children, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and educational experiences
- Assisting with homework and educational needs
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Taking children to activities
- Handling bedtime routines from time to time and ensuring the children’s daily schedules are followed
- Must be able to drive to take children to activities and collect from school

**Housekeeping - Responsibilities**

This includes tasks such as:

- Cleaning and tidying various areas of the house, including bedrooms, living spaces, and common areas
- Dog walking
- Doing laundry, ironing, and other household chores
- Managing household supplies and food shopping
- Overseeing the general upkeep of the property, including coordinating with other household staff if needed
- Organising storage spaces, wardrobes and other areas if needed

**Personal Assistance**
- Running errands for the the family
- Assisting with event planning, travel arrangements and reservations if needed

**Flexibility**

The Nanny/Housekeeper should be flexible and willing to adapt to changing schedules which will include 1 evening and 1 late night per week.

**Child safety and security**

Ensuring the safety and security of the children is of utmost importance and always take appropriate measures to protect the children.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in childcare or nannying.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages.
- A valid driver's licence and own transport is essential to facilitate transportation needs.
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities.
- References must be provided

**Licence/Certification**
- Full clean UK driving licence and own transport
- Enhanced DBS checks
- Paediatric 1st Aid (preferred but not required as training will be provided to all applicants)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
