- Summary

This internship offers practical work experience in a busy IT department. Project Management experience and knowledge will be gained along the way, with an opportunity to manage one or more IT projects in a busy IT operations department within an Investment Bank. The Internship will involve coordinating and overseeing the implementation of work carried out by technical teams, and will involve assigning work and reporting and organising progress.

This is a real role, offering experience in an IT department. This is mainly an organisational role with some hand-on delivery work. The Intern is expected to experience physical and IT project management work. The Intern will assist, where necessary, and experience many aspects of the IT department and will need to be self-motivated and be able to organise themselves.

Key Responsibilities
- Intern is responsible for assisting the manager with projects to be determined at the time

Activities may include many of the following:

- Learn about the features of a system in order to help and advise users and write help guides or video tutorials
- o Writing and sending out user communication to notify of up-coming deployment phases and events, and such like
- o Testing and reporting technical issues to technical support staff
- o Attending to users to give advice and assistance
- o Running minor project meetings and organising technical staff
- o Exporting data and providing statistics and data related to the projects
- o Writing management reports and user documentation-
