**Cyber Security Engineer**

Advantage Resourcing are currently assisting an international organisation in the recruitment of a Cyber Security Engineer for a client based in Surrey. They're very flexible with working from home, however being able to commute to the office will be required.

This is an exciting time to be joining the team with new projects underway/scheduled, a large IT & Security budget, new areas of expansion and an opportunity to mould and grow this position into what you want it to be. The requirements are broad and canfocus on developing/implementing policies, procedures and standards, as well as focusing on the technical aspects of security. A background working around Identity and Access Management can be very useful.

**Key Skills as a Cyber Security Engineer**
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) - (Okta useful)
- Knowledge of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST etc
- Incident Response
- Vulnerability Management
- Working with different teams across an organisation
- Ensuring security is being implemented properly into technologies
- Working with Microsoft technologies (Azure and Office 365 useful)
- Vendor management/Working with third parties

**Key Responsibilities as a Cyber Security Engineer**
- Implementing good/best practice
- Reviewing pen tests results/findings
- Leading incident response
- Designing, auditing, analysing and implementing security systems and processes
- Ensuring secure by design principles are embedded into tools, technologies and projects
- Writing technical documentation, policies, procedures, processes and standards
- Performing security reviews and implementing recommendations
- Liaising and working with stakeholders
- Providing security awareness training where required
- Advising on system enhancements and risk mitigation
