AK Teaching are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner secondary schools in the Sunderland area. The position will be ongoing for the rest of this half term with the possibility to continue on into the new Academic year in September.

JOB ROLE
The role will involve managing classrooms & ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.

We also offer a Refer a Friend Scheme & Guaranteed Pay Scheme to some applicants.
JOB CANDIDATE
- Experience working with young people.
- A positive approach to supporting students.
- A passion for education and helping young student reach their potential.

All applicants must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo relevant DBS checks.

As a Cover supervisor, the successful applicant will; monitor progress, encourage a positive learning environment and enable pupils to enjoy learning, even when it’s difficult. The successful applicant will have the ability to monitor pupils, be committed, hardworking, resilient and a strong team player.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £80.00-£90.00 per day
