**POSITION IN ORGANISATION**

**KPI Responsibilities**:To be agreed

**DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Transport Planner / Transport Coordinator will be carrying out duties such as planning route and daily workloads for HGV drivers, to develop and build rapport with client base, department administration, dealing with department calls, liaising with colleagues within the Transport planning team plus more.

The Transport Planner / Transport Coordinator will be route planning deliveries around the South West and will see you working closely with up to 5 HGV drivers to plan their daily workload and routes.
- Planning transport multi sites in Bristol
- Planning shipments for Italy orders
- Communicate closely with outside haulers, CFL In-house Departments and both Manufacturing & Yard Teams to ensure Goods are shipped as programmed.
- Submit time critical reports to Bristol depots.
- Responsible for sourcing the most cost-effective delivery option.
- Ensure inter branch stock transfers are coordinated to arrive in time for loading on designated vehicle/s.
- Generate reports to assist in forward planning.
- Work closely with all other transport team members & colleagues at other sites.
- Supervise the transport administrator and ensure they are engaged and understand their responsibilities.
**RENUMERATION**

Salary £28,000/year

Holidays - 21 days plus 8 Bank Holidays. Increasing to 25 + bank holidays after 1 years’ service. Days will need to be saved for the Christmas Shutdown, days required will change year on year, usually 3 to 5.

Hours
- Mon - Friday: 07.30 - 17.00
- Saturday: 07.30 -12.00
You will be required to work alternative Saturdays, which will be reviewed in the winter months, and will need to be flexible depending on the needs of the business

- Have a good understanding of the regulations set out in the Operators License, VOSA and the Traffic Commissioner.
- A good understanding of the Working Time Directive & Tachograph regulations
