**Buyer & Shipping Administrator (part time)**

**Contract: Part Time Immediate Start**

**Location: West Sussex**

**Salary range: £11.00 - £12.00 ph. negotiable depending on experience.**

An ambitious manufacturing engineering organisation located in Horsham, West Sussex has the opportunity to hire a part time Buyer & Shipping Administrator due to new customer opportunities and business growth.

You will have excellent communication skills, be confident to communicate over the telephone with customers and suppliers, and team working with colleagues is essential within this business.

Role Responsibilities:

- This is a progressive role, and the job holder will be supported with career progression.
- Utilise the company business system to plan and execute the purchasing of all raw materials.
- Utilise the company business system to plan and execute the purchasing of all bought in parts.
- Utilise the company business system and resources to plan and ship products to the UK, EU, and global destinations.
- Work closely with different members of the management team (matrix management) to support delivery of all customer standard and project orders on time and to specification.
- Ensure the management team receive maximum support (effective proactive and formal communication) when providing the status of purchasing requirements.
- Work closely with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Sheet Metal/Fabrication, Quality, Finance, HR, and support company Health & Safety requirements by attending progress meetings.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- Good communication, planning and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks and duties.
- Well organised with an enthusiastic, positive can-do attitude.
- MS office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Project/Visio).
- Training on the company’s business system will be provided.
