Our client has an exciting opportunity for a **Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer **to join the team.

Location: Derby

**Salary**: £35-50K - depending on experience

Job Type/Hours: Full Time

**QA Engineer - **The Role:
Due to continued growth and demand, they are looking to bring on board a QA Engineer who will embrace continuous improvement and get involved in new technologies such as digitalisation and artificial intelligence. The role will liaise closely with otherfunctions of the business, both locally in the UK and globally, to share best practices and ensure that what is best for the customer is always at the forefront.

**QA Engineer -** Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and provide solutions to improve KPIs and manufacturing processes
- Ensure that any new technologies, including AI, Machine Learning and Co-robots, are utilised within the business where relevant, keeping on top of any technological advancements
- Assist in the development of businesses cases for new technologies and systems in order to achieve approval by senior stakeholders
- Project management of the installation and execution of new initiatives for continuous improvement

**QA Engineer - **You**:

- Min. of 3-5 years’ experience working within a mass manufacturing environment
- Degree educated - ideally in an Engineering discipline
- Track record of delivering continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects and project management of any new installations
- Exposure to new technologies and languages such as Python and Artificial Intelligence
