**The Role**:
Network Support Engineer.
Hybrid role - Car Allowance - Annual Bonus.
Nigel Wright are delighted to be partnering with a leading technology services company to recruit a customer focused, Network Support Engineer.You will combine internal and external technical support, project work and day-to-day administration across themanaged services network.
The organisation is going through a sustained period of growth and this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to be involved with their plans to develop and enhance their managed service network.The Network Support engineer role will suitboth individuals with good networking experience as well as someone with excellent I.T. support knowledge with the drive to learn new skills and progress professionally.
**What you will be doing**:

- Develop, enhance and maintain the managed service network
- Contribute to the implementation of the managed service network infrastructure
- Provide 2nd line support to the operational team and customers
- Attend sites and data centres when required
- Liaise with 3rd party suppliers

**Essential Skills**:

- Experience of working in a MSP environment supporting Enterprise/ISP networks
- Good knowledge of routing, switching and network security
- Understanding of networking and networking services - MPLS/BGP/OSPF
- Knowledge of Wireless, VOIP and VPN technologies
- Experience of working with PTP/PTMP Wireless Links
- Monitoring and protocol analysis

**Desirable but non-essential**:

- Experience of Linux servers
- Experience of Mikrotik hardware
- Experience of Ubiquiti hardware
- Experience of AWS/Azure Cloud platforms
- CCNA/CCNP
