We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Operative to join our High-Risk Team, here at Yorkshire Baker on A Shift, days. The main purpose of this job is to work as part of the line team to provide support to the Area Manager by promoting, supporting and ensuring Quality standards are delivered at all times

**Main duties include (but not limited to)**:

- Under the guidance of the Area Manager, ensure that each product specification is followed, and any anomalies are reported immediately
- Ensure that any production targets set by the Area Manager are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen etc), meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site
- Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the Production Area.
- Report any equipment defects immediately to the Area Supervisor / Team Leader
- Behave in a safe and appropriate manner at all times
- Assist during internal / external audits as required
- Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies
- Maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc
- Reliable with a can-do attitude
- Good standard of English
- Basic understanding of health & safety
- Experience of working in food production, an advantage
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Basic numeric & literacy skills
