Lunchtime Assistant/ Housekeeper- Maternity Cover

**Salary**:£11.44 per hour

**Main Duties**
- Preparation and service of food and beverages using seasonal, fresh ingredients and working within the financial parameters set by the Director/Setting Manager.
- Ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and tastes delicious and looks attractive.
- To ensure daily bookwork and temperature records are kept to required standards.
- Ensure all equipment, refrigerators and storerooms are kept clean and tidy.
- Ensures food supplies are stored correctly.
- Manage orders and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
- To make sure the kitchen and service areas are clean, tidy and well presented at all times.
- Be responsible for the cleanliness of the nursery and for maintaining high and consistent standards.
- Take initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks as and when required.
- Report cleaning supply requirements and stock levels to the Setting Manager.
- Report any Health and Safety concerns to the Setting Manager.
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, scrubbing. Buffing and disposing of waste.
- To maintain confidentiality on all nursery matters.

This list is not exhaustive and other tasks may be added as directed by your managers as and when necessary to ensure the proper running of the nursery.
