**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking Associate Directors to join our growing Ports team, with opportunities available across a number of locations where our teams are based.
We are an international leader in the engineering, planning, design and construction management of maritime structures, ports, harbours and coastal schemes. Our 100+ Ports & Maritime UK team is part of a wider global team with over 500 specialist maritime engineers with world class skill and experience in marine design and specification.
Our team specialises in commercial ports, bulk terminals, naval bases, breakwaters and coastal defences, dredging and reclamation, marine off-loading facilities and sea water intakes and outfalls. We support a wide range of major UK and international clients across the maritime, defence, energy and transport sectors.
This is an exciting time as we evolve our business to offer real solutions to some of the greatest challenges of moving towards net zero carbon emissions, climate resilience and efficiently developing 21st century infrastructure.
As an Associate Director you will lead multi-disciplinary project teams to implement and deliver safe technical solutions to agreed standards, on-time, and within budget. You will have established your reputation for the highest standards of service and technical delivery across a broad range of major projects.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:
- Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer (or other relevant professional qualification)
- Experience of design of maritime structures
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and report writing skills
- Thorough attention to detail and an ability to establish and meet deadlines/budgets.
- Excellent organisational, management and research skills with the ability to develop multiple projects at a time, with a good commercial understanding
- Demonstrated ability to develop projects and preparation of project deliverables, including managing quality, budget, programme and resources.
