Librarian

**Qualifications**

**Essential**:

- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), Grade C/4 or above, including English & Maths
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office, MIS systems)
- First Aid training (or willingness to complete)

**Desirable**:

- Degree in Library & Information Management and/or Chartered CILIP status
- Relevant qualification or substantial experience in librarianship

**Experience**

**Essential**:

- General clerical/administrative work
- Confident using IT systems for reporting and records management
- Familiar with Library Management Systems (e.g., AccessIt, Eclipse, Oliver)
- Experience working with students aged 11-18 (preferably in education)

- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office

**Other Requirements**
- Enhanced DBS check required

Pay: £25,420.00-£27,389.39 per year
