Due to the growth of the business and an expanding workload, we are looking to strengthen our Teesside based team which focuses on claims and arbitrations relating to high value quantum, delay and disruption issues. The role: We are seeking individuals from a surveying, planning or project management background to develop a career within Claims Management and Forensic Planning whilst working with a team of Experts in this field. You will work within the Driver Trett team in Teesside as a Consultant reporting to one of our Operational Directors. Key experience and knowledge: Essential: A minimum of 5 years UK based construction industry experience as Quantity Surveyor, Cost Engineer or construction related engineer. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or other, related discipline. Demonstrable understanding of NEC3 and FIDIC contracts. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Desirable: Professionally qualified or on route to Member qualification: CIOB, APM, RICS, ICE or I StrucE or similar. Site based experience with a well-established sub-contractor, contractor, consultant or client.
