**The Role**

We are looking for someone to support the daily functions of the accounts department, ensuring an accurate completion of month end in accordance with company deadlines whilst meeting internal and external demands.

**What we are looking for**:
You do not need any previous experience, as we will consider a recent school or college leaver. If you are an enthusiastic member of the team who can demonstrate an interest in accounts and finance, we would love to hear from you.

**Main Responsibilities**
- File and post invoices
- Post journals using excel
- Daily cash reconciliation and processing of cash banking and bank transactions
- Answering telephone calls, answering supplier queries or directing the calls to the relevant member of staff
- Initiate bank payments
- Some Credit Control
- Other ad-hoc duties as per business demands

**Key Skills - desirable**
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Effective communicator both written and verbal
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Polite telephone manner

**Work Schedule**: 30 hours per week - Monday to Thursday, 08:30 to 17:00.

**Salary**: £22,308 per annum (based on full time hours). The salary will increase as you progress through AAT.
