**Job description**

Every year it manufactures more than 1.6 million units, leading the industry in both innovation and sustainability to suit a wide range of industries, from construction to security.

The Production Operator will be responsible for manufacturing steel fence components and gates.

**Responsibilities**:

- Following instruction from all Supervisors/Managers
- Ensuring that all set Production targets are met or exceeded
- Carry out general yard or laboring duties as required
- Ensuring that general housekeeping is to a high standard
- Operate a forklift truck or lorry loader (only if externally trained, certificated and authorised to do so)
- Operate other plant/machinery (only if trained and authorised to do so)
- Weld to a good and acceptable standard (only if trained and correctly authorised to do so);
- Ensure that all vehicles are correctly and safely loaded/unloaded
- Ensure that all equipment is of the correct quantity and fit for purpose
- Ensure that any defective plant/machinery/equipment is reported and quarantined as required
- Ensure that all employees carry out their duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures as set out in the Company Employee handbook and current legislation and risk assessments
- Report any accidents immediately
- Ensure all appropriate PPE is worn when required
- Ensure that the integrity and image of the Company is maintained at all times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- This position will be covering a rotating shift pattern of Monday - Friday 6AM - 2PM rotating weekly with 2PM - 10PM, Please confirm you can do both shifts.
