**About the role**:
KidsOR is seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman / Warehouse Assistant to join our team based in Dundee. This dual-role position involves performing general maintenance tasks as well as assisting in warehouse operations.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:
Handyperson Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as fixing plumbing systems, electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep of facilities.
- Maintain the grounds and grass areas around the building, including mowing, trimming, and landscaping.
- Inspect buildings and other structures to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
- Assemble, move, and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain an inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment required for maintenance tasks.

Warehouse Assistant Duties:

- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming goods.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified, or willingness to gain this certification if currently uncertified).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Support loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.

Working Conditions:

- Combination of indoor and outdoor work environments.
- Physical labour, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Use of hand and power tools.

**Knowledge and skills**:

- Proven experience as a handyperson, maintenance worker, or in a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
- Experience in groundskeeping or landscaping is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00 per year
