We are looking for an Assistant Cook to join our friendly catering team at Clarence Park Retirement Village in Malvern.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking home-style meals on location, whilst also ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the catering service. Duties also include raising orders in line with financial procedures, stock control and ensuring all food preparation complies with food, health and safety policies.

As an Assistant Cook within our Retirement Village, you'll be a valued part of a tight-knit team that loves the buzz of working under pressure in our well-known business. This role will give you the freedom to contribute to the menu and present new ideas for menu options.

We will offer training and career progression opportunities, as you will develop your skills in the role.

**Some things we need from you**:
You will be passionate about working in catering and providing high quality, home style cooked food for our customers. As an active member of the team, you will have excellent communication skills and a great eye for detail.

To ensure the smooth running of the service, you will show flexibility to cover the cook when required.

This role is part time at 22.5 hours per week and includes working to a rota. Shifts will typically be between 9am and 3pm, including some weekends, however evening work may be required on occasion to cover for events.
