**Job Summary**

**Duties**:

- Greet patients and visitors to the health centre in a courteous and professional manner
- Be competent in the use of the IT system to generate appointments for patients, manage prescription requests, file clinical correspondence, respond to and act upon tasks set by clinical staff
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Liaise with health care staff and third party professionals in support of best patient care

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is desirable but not essential
- Proficient IT skills are essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
