£60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
This is a hybrid role working from home and also travelling around the surrounding areas to different customer sites.

I am looking for a motivated Software & Applications Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company within the automation industry. This role will suit someone who is looking to utilise their skills to help keep a start of the art production facilitymaintained to a high standard. Reporting directly to the Senior Software Engineers, you will be involved in all aspects of software development within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance itsemployees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Development of standard products that improve usability and remote support for AGITO Automation solutions
- Data analysis and development of tools and dashboards for Materials Handling and Warehousing systems
- Development of innovative networking and communications solutions with a focus on cyber security, scalability and performance
- Driving a high standard of customer service and working with stakeholders to ensure recognition of, and responsiveness to, the needs of internal and external clients
- Working with mechanical and electrical teams on integration of IT Systems with mechatronic/robotic systems
- Learning from Senior Software Developers in our business
Required Skills & Experience:
- A Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Software Development and API Specifications
- Programming experience including C#,.Net, Node.js, JAVA, JavaScript, HTML5, XML, JSON, SQL, NoSQL
- Experience with server hardware, virtualizing platforms, and cloud environments
- Permanent UK Working Rights
