Experienced Roofer

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles.
- Assess roof conditions and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople including carpenters and masons to ensure proper integration of roofing systems.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening roofing materials.
- Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation according to specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
- Weld or fabricate metal components when necessary for roofing systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Strong skills in masonry work will be advantageous.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and work at heights for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Freelance
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: £18.09-£19.80 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
