**Multi Skilled Machine Operator**

**Overview**
To cut & edge panels in line with the production schedule ensuring all components within the order
are produced to the agreed quality standards and in a timely manner. This role is placed at the beginning of our quality management process, and you are responsible for making sure parts are finished to the correct size and have the correct edging tape applied.

**Main Responsibilities**:
- Operate and maintain the automated panel production line.
- Ensure consumables are controlled, preventing out of stocks.
- To control and maintain the necessary documents and paperwork required to carry out your role.
- Observe all health and safety rules and take all reasonable care to promote health and safety at work.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by a supervisor or Manager.
- To assist with maintaining and developing SOPs as part of the continual improvement Process, ensuring they are followed and relevant.
- Produce parts of the highest quality to a production schedule using advanced, automated equipment.
- Ensure the machine is in good working order.
- Monitor and highlight any missing or rejected items as a priority to limit any impact to the customer, continually striving to achieve 100% right first time.
- Ensure jobs are completed & delivered on time and in full in line with the factory production plan.
**Essential Requirements**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Able to work in a loud environment
- Can work well under pressure
- Able to lift large panels if required
- Able to move to shift work in future if needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well within a team
- Able to follow SOP’s and work unsupervised
- Able to problem solve and identify improvements
- Able to differentiate colours/shades.
- Excellent IT Skills
**Working hours**
7.30am - 3.30pm
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,108.93-£27,679.81 per year
