Behavioural Support Assistant

Protocol Education are working in partnership with a school in the Middlesbrough area who are in need of a Behavioural Support assistant to support within their provision. his role involves supporting students within the classroom as well as being confident in supporting on a 1:1 basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging role with amazing job satisfaction.

Availability: Full time - 8:30-16:00 - Monday-Friday

Location: Middlesbrough

Age groups: 11 - 19 years

About you:

- Must hold a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or willing to complete through online CPD
- Previous experience of working with child and young adults
- Confident with with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Effective de-escalater and understanding of behaviours that challenge
- Flexible and Student Centred approach
- Available full time and can commit to a long term role
- Hold a right to work in the UK
- Hold a valid DBS on the update service or willing to complete
